Hotel Carlton Capri, Venice

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were small but cozy, and the bathroom was especially nice. The good breakfast with a view of the city was perfect for my needs. The service was top-notch, with staff that were so eager to please and extremely friendly and helpful. The location was great, close to the main bus terminal and a peaceful romantic area by the canals. The dining experience with the amazing view of the grand canal for breakfast was a fantastic way to start the day!

I was pleasantly surprised to find myself on the fourth floor, which we actually liked for the element of surprise! The rooms, though not very large, were sufficient even for a two-week stay. Unfortunately, they were very hot and airless with no satisfactory explanation from the staff. The decor definitely needed some love, with peeling wallpaper and scruffy paintwork.
